Established in 1992 as Randy’s Southern Style BBQ; carryout & off-premise
catering of our BBQ made us popular. Our catering grew quickly just by
word-of-mouth referral. In order to focus our efforts fully on the catering business,
we closed our carryout storefront not long after opening.
The company has enjoyed steady growth and diversification into contracted catering
services for Meals on Wheels, charter schools, USDA summer meals, & summer day camps.
Many of our customers know us by our corporate name; Unique Food Management, Inc.
As successful local caterers, our business has grown and become diversified in response to the needs and requests of our customers. We have proven our capability to understand and satisfy a demographically diverse customer and client base.
Our experienced partners also provide food service consulting services.
As food service consultants, we do extensive operational and facility design
work for senior centers, meals on wheels programs, schools, retirement communities,
long term care facilities and hospitals throughout the Midwest. Our affiliated
company, Randolph Lang Associates has designed numerous commercial kitchen facilities
locally and in Ohio. Such experiences keep us abreast of the changing trends in those
service arenas.

Our Long-standing Community Service Effort: Meals on Wheels for local Senior Citizens
Unique Food Management, Inc. is currently providing 450-500 congregate and home
delivered meals to four serving sites and individual homes throughout Pontiac,
Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake and Bloomfield Township under contract with the Area
Agency on Aging 1-B. Additionally, in partnership with We Care Senior Meals Program
of Detroit, we provide 450-500 home delivered meals per day to senior clients in the
Detroit area, under contract with Detroit Area Agency on Aging.
